Merzouga Luxury Desert Camps – Merzouga, Morocco
1. Reservations & Payment
To confirm a booking, a 30% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of reservation. The remaining 70% must be paid no later than 30 days before arrival.
We accept payments via Visa, MasterCard, and American Express.
2. Cancellation Policy
- More than 30 days before arrival: The 30% deposit will be retained. No additional charges apply.
- Within 30 days of arrival: 100% of the total booking will be charged.
- No-show or same-day cancellation: 100% of the stay is charged and non-refundable.
3. Modification Policy
We understand plans may change. We’re happy to assist with rescheduling, subject to availability, provided that written notice is given at least 30 days prior to arrival.
4. Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend that all guests obtain comprehensive travel insurance to cover cancellations, delays, medical emergencies, and other unforeseen circumstances.
5. Check-in / Check-out
- Regular Season (Sept–May):
- Check-in: 15:00
- Check-out: 11:00
- Summer Season (1 June – 30 August):
- Check-in: 18:00
- Check-out: 11:00
6. Getting to the Camp
- Meeting Point: In front of the Morocco National 4×4 Auto Museum, Merzouga
- Camp Access: Accessible only by 4×4 vehicle or camel
- 15–20 minutes by 4×4
- 40 minutes by camel
Arrival before sunset is recommended:
- Sept–Oct: by 4:30 PM
- Nov–Feb: by 3:00 PM
- Mar–Apr: by 4:30 PM
- May–June: by 6:00 PM
- July–Aug: by 7:00 PM
7. Guest Recommendations
Please bring:
- Sunscreen, sunglasses, hat/cap, long sleeves
- Good walking shoes or sneakers
- Warm clothing (in winter)
- Personal medications and basic pharmacy items
8. Accommodation & Amenities
- WiFi: Available, but connection may be slow or intermittent due to the remote desert location.
- Electricity: Yes, charging points are available.
- Dietary Requirements: Vegetarian and special dietary needs are happily accommodated with advance notice.
9. Children Policy
- Children under 5 stay free of charge
- Children aged 5–12: Additional charges apply
- Guests aged 13 and older: Charged at adult rates
10. Liability Disclaimer
While we take all reasonable precautions to ensure guest safety and comfort, Merzouga Luxury Desert Camps cannot be held liable for personal injury, loss, theft, or damage to personal property during your stay. Guests participate in activities and excursions at their own risk.
